starts in 2nd
I just had the long block replaced on my DD 2000 V6 Camaro. I did not have these trans issues before the shop worked on it, so I'm hoping this is a simple electrical issue.
The car appears to be starting in 2nd gear. The car does have that '2nd gear start' button, so is there some electrical connector on the trans that they might have forgot to hook up?
also, even once I get going, the car doesn't have any power, I'm thinking it's not wanting to downshift... if I tap the throttle a few times quickly, it'll downshift. (keep in mind the V6 has a drive by wire throttle, so no cables to adjust).
thoughts?

I couldn't find any unplugged electrical connectors on the trans itself. however, the trans was about 1/2 qt low on fluid. I topped it off and its running a lot better, but still not perfect. This was also after letting it cool for an hour. I'll have a better feel after another commute in the morning. The fluid looks kinda dark, so maybe a drain and fill will make it better. Hope nothing got ruined.
