Trans comes outta gear!!!
I have a 408 stroker in my camaro. It has a TCI super street fighter 3600-4000 converter. It has been beefed up on the inside as well. The other day I launched it and it made a bang and went into neutral but it was still in OD. I checked the linkage thinking its binding up but it seems fine. It shifts hard in every gear but If I jump on it, it comes outta gear and goes into neutral then when the rpms come down it takes back off but the shifter still stays in OD. Is my converter bad? Or is the tune I gave it bad. I upped the line pressure for it to shift harder. What did I break??

Sorry ,I cant diagnose the issue for you, but I cant see any way its the converter. The converter is just a coupler , so I cant see how it could make the trans pop out of gear. It sound more like a valve body problem.
Did you try lowering the line pressure back down to see if it goes away?

Is it jumping out of all gears or only 3rd and 4th?
If also 1st and 2nd, does it jump out with the shifter in [D1] or [D2].
Does it jump out of 3rd gear in [D3]?
We had a similar thread where it turned out the forward sprag had broken and would hold for partial throttle, but not full throttle. In [D1] and [D2] and for just 3rd gear in [D3], the overrun clutch is engaged and removes some load from the forward sprag; hence I asked the questions above.
