Revuilt transmission question
I just got my car back from the transmission shop this morning and I'm having trouble getting it to stay cranked, if I don't hold the gas down for about 30 seconds the car will die but after that 30 seconds the car will run fine until it cuts off, I also had a PTC 4000 stall out in it, could this be the problem?

A high stall converter puts LESS load on the engine at idle, not more.
Therefore, unless the converter is defective and the lockup clutch is dragging, this is not your problem. A bad trans rebuild could also try to engage the lockup, but that is also unlikely.
Most likely the trans shop messed up an engine sensor or related wiring.

I figured it would have to be something the shop that installed it did, yesterday it also died going down the interstate home from work, ally lights and everything just cut off but it cranked instantly when I pulled over, the lock up on the converter is a lot different than i though it would be as well, it never locks up at the same speed like I heard members saying there's locks up at 40 everytime, mine will lock up anywhere from 35-55

Is your SES light on? If not, does it work?
You should scan for codes; auto stores provide a free scanner loan, although you have to pay a high deposit for it.
Take it back to the trans shop; this is most likely their problem/mistake.
