Default yank converter in trailblazer ss..

on my trailblazer ss 2wd i put and yank 3200 stall converter but i need to use spacers do to the gap between the ears and the flexplate. anyone have and tricks on getting the spacers in there. only way i can think is to take off the oil pan to gain more access to the bolts.. thanks for the help.

Can you use a pencil magnet to hold the washer/spacer in place while you thread the bolt in? Don't know if there is enough room for this.

Is the starter removed?
With the starter and access cover removed, there should be plenty of room.
Of course, I am not familiar with that exact car.
