Default 6.0 with TH350 or TH400

This question has probably already been but out here but wanted to ask to see if I could get an answer without having to try to find it. I have a 6.0 out of a 2005 2500HD and I'm going to install it in a 1995 S-10 with either a 350 or 400 trans. Do I need to drill and tap the upper bellhousing hole on the passenger side of the block or have people just been running 5 bolts? I know the "adapter kit" will be needed with the flywheel and/or spacer but was just wondering about that bolt hole. Any help would be appreciated.

Just 5 bolts is plenty. Be sure that the alignment pins are also installed as they also absorb a lot of rotational force.
