4l80 doesn't disengage on acc in top?
Hey guys, have completed the swap of the ls1 and 4l80 into my Aussie nissan patrol and have a couple of questions hopefully someone can help me out.
I have changed some of the parameters so that the 4-3 and 3-2 downshifts are widened slightly, what was happening was when on the highway and overtaking as you apply throttle it would eventually down change all the way back to second! If the conv was to disengage to give me the extra 300 or so revs it would put me just into the torque area a lil more.
Why doesn't the standard tune allow it to do so? All the tunes I checked on tune depot were the same, what's the reason?
Cheers

Someone must have thought about this? Your chev trucks must be around the same weight as our nissans? Mine would weigh around 3 tonne. Does 2550 rpm at 110km/h.
Any ideas or thoughts
