Default TCI Bolt-together converters

I stumbled on this; hadn't heard about them. Certainly a unique approach to building a converter - triple disc, etc.

I cannot even imagine the nightmare of tech support on those to the average end user.

Neat concept, great for extremely savvy users that are serious racers and may need to change stall. No advantage to the typical user except easy to service when something fails. My guess is it will cost as much to service for the typical user as a weld together by the time you buy a new o-ring and bearings from TCI.

Also,
Another potential leak point.

Interesting, but impractical for the average enthusiast. I could see it for a dedicated '1/4 miler' that would have a crew along.
