Default TH400, question

I'm looking to buy a th400. Has anyone had luck with TCI, B&M or Hughes transmissions ? Little info, street driver and some track runs, 500+hp and what stall would be good. I'm new with A/T and would just like to drive the car and have some fun, thanks guys

Me and one other local have th400 that were put together by Jake. His car has been low 8s and with my old set up I went low 10s without any problems with either trans. Both are street cars that are driven all over the place and both over 3,400lbs. I have never had a trans by any of the companies you mentioned.

As for a converter I ould call PTC and let them tell you what converter to run. That is what I always do... and never dissapointed.

Jake or Hughes. I used Hughes converters for years awhile back when we raced. Never had a problem.
