Default Can a stock 4l80e hold up to..

A 2jz making 600foot lbs of tq in a 240 chassis and spinning to 7500rpms? Unlike the GM v8's, peak tq isnt made until over 5k. if that makes a difference. I figure if they are rated at 440 foot lbs in a truck, then what I am asking shoudnt be too much f a stretch.

For a little while....
It will kill the direct clutches or intermediate sprag first depending on whether it hooks or not, and what condition it's in.

That combo needs a dedicated build and I would consider an aluminum direct drum strongly.

You will likely have issues with the direct clutches centrifugally applying at that rpm. There are mods done to prevent this in performance applications.

The direct clutches don't have the capacity to handle the power in stock form beside the centrifugal apply issue.

We've learned some interesting lessons with 4L80E's at 9000+ rpm behind 2JZ's and Ford modular motors.
