Default 4L60e clutches

Which are the best to use for high performance power. I've read/heard the Alto 9 pack are good and then there is the new Blue Z-Pack. What would ya'll think. What about clearances and stuff? What should I get them clearanced at? I gotta have the tranny rebuilt and I'm just curious what should be done.

Thanks in advance.

I have used Borg Warner Hi-Energy 3-4 clutches for over 8 years now, in all of my units, with only a very few problems. The latest from Raybestos (Z pak) might be a good one, but I will wait & see on this before I use/recommend it. The BW Hi-E's are priced very reasonable, and not hard to find. If you have any questions, let me know?

Would you put them in a 4500 truck pulling ~550 rwhp? The HP is a little overrated, but I'd rather over shoot, than be limited by the tranny. I'm headed for 11's and the trucks have always had problems with the trannies just because they are a little fatter than the cars and tend to be hard on them.

FWIW, I had stock low gear clutches and blue 3/4. The blues burnt up and the stock ones have slipped every now and then with the sticky tires on.
