1st gear converter lock up on nitrous

1st gear converter lock up on nitrous Searching for info on who has done lock up after launching on the gas. No luck really. The converter builder and Trans builder say it will be great for running hard NA with a loose converter and the locking up on nitrous to avoid blow through.
Anyone done this? Was thinking delay the lock up a bit to launch on nitrous and engage the lock up after since rpm will shoot up hard and the lock up will drop down like it shifted.
Sounds great on paper. But want info from those that have done it.
It's a built 80 and getting a triple disc converter. No doubt if it will handle it. Just a carbed and cammed 6.0 with a 150-200 shot.
I see people locking up in 3rd and maybe second, but seems more gain would happen locking up as soon as you can if you have a 440 converter or so.
