Transmission wiring harness leaking, suggestions?
I recently installed Jake's D3 (which is amazing I am super happy with it) but my harness plug is leaking trans fluid. When I built the trans I used a new harness and modified it with the required extra pin and used silicone on the back side (inside of the trans) to seal it back up. This didn't work well so I pulled the pan tonight and cleaned the silicone out tonight. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what would work well? I thought about using an epoxy and just filling that area up.

There should be an oring on the big 16 way connector. Take the pan down and check the connector. No need for silicone and/or epoxy. You're just going to make it harder for the next time you service the transmission.

if you drilled a hole through the connector and added a wire then try sealing it with "automatic transmission gasket maker" by permatex
Tranny fluid seeps through regular rtv's/sealants, the automatic gasket maker is resistant to it.. Kinda like how the black rtv is oil resistant..
