Default 4l80 turbo 400 dipstick.

Hey guys I couldn't find anything on here about this. I have been told from a few guys in town here that the 4l80 uses the same after market dipstick as the turbo 400. Does anyone know if this is true? I know the 400 lokar fits the whole but are the level marks the same? Thanks for the help.

Just looking at some parts I have here I would say they are different. The length from the seal to the end of the tube and dipstick look different to me. You could probably call summit or jegs tech dept and get a better answer.

Not the same. If you are using a Lokar dipstick, it's probably not accurate anyway.

So I'm guessing with the 400 stick when reads full will most likely be low on the 4l80 then

You will have to check the Lokar and make it read correctly. It should be done on any transmission install with any dipstick.
