What's the best shifter that fits really good in the stock console that I can use with a Powerglide?

From my research the Kwik Shift II is one of the most popular, and Madman sells a kit for F-bodies complete with proper length cable and a lever mounted switch for a brake. Note that I do not have one yet so this is just me sharing what I have found after tons of research, but it is what I plan on getting when I install my Glide thats sitting bagged in a closet.

Like everything else with these F-bodies I imagine it might (will) take some fenagaling.

Great simple vid if you're not familiar with gated shifters or are coming from a ratchet. I MUCH prefer a gated shifter, but everyone has their preference...its a FB link but no FB login is needed to view it. Won't let me paste it as a link but it worked in quote tags. Weird.
