Default trans question

I bought a complete dropout 6.0 lq9 engine from a 2003 Cadillac Escalade 4wd. my question is which transmission came in these vehicles and what would be the best overdrive rwd trans to use with minimal issues for a street car.

A simple Google search indicates that the 4L60E was the standard trans, although I suspect it may be the the 4L65E.
With a 2003 PCM, you can use any '98 to '08 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E that came from a LS vehicle (other than C5 Vette). If used, I would suggest a lower mileage '03+.
Assuming a nearly stock engine (no adders) best would be a Level 2 or 3 from sponsors FLT, RPM or PerformaBuilt.

If you plan on adders and 600+ HP, you should consider a 4L80E instead.

What type of car is this going into?
