Default 4l60e vent tube leaking

Stock 4l60e that never before had issues with any leaks however ever since installing my remote mount derale transmission cooler I have been getting leak from the vent tube (which runs down torque arm) and then drips onto floor and is slung onto exhaust.

What is causing this? Too much fluid? Only seems to happen when car is "pushed". No other changes have been made except removing factory cooler and installing the beast. Transmission temperature has never exceeded 190 with the cooler on ever after some harder spirited driving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i despise any leaks. Transmission only has 65000 miles on it and has been serviced 3 times with normal fluid filter changes.

Have you checked the fluid level. An over filled trans will leak out the vent once hot.

It doesn't appear overfilled. Bigger question is what it considered not? According to temp qauge which is on pressure port it runs at 150 as I have the fan on cooler on 24/7 when driving. It has never gone over 190 on gauge. I would imagine that the actual temp of fluid is lower as I have my gauge sensor mounted on transmission.

I should have said operating temp instead of hot. I did not intend to imply overheating. When overfilled the fluid will foam up and come out of the vent.

Would installation of remote mount cooler in the rear (lines are routed along body lines) with -6an lines be the problem of too much pressure trying to push all fluid around. It is a stacked plate version derale 13960

I doubt it... which trans dipstick are you using? I know when I had a stock dipstick it wouldn't always stay down in the grommet in the pan properly therefore throwing the reading off. If that's the case than more than likely you overfilled it.
