Default Questions about my cross member

Been recently thinking about upgrading my bent torque arm to a tunnel mount one... but I'm trying to figure out whats going on with my cross member. It came with the car when I bought it.. Currently have a 700r4 in it but the cross member seems to be sitting different than the pictures I've seen online. I think it's a UMI automatic one and it looks like it doesn't line up with the bolt.. so the previous owner is using some kind of plate. Is this not the correct cross member for my car?

its not the correct crossmember for the 700r4. but the plate was made to make it work. you should be able to use a full length torque arm with your crossmember.

Thanks for the info. Since this crossmember is for a 4l60e I'm getting heavy vibration due to plate setup.. It feels like the rear end is about to fall put. I need to know which cross member without the torque arm mount I can use.
