Default 2013 LS to TH400 with older converter style

Theres a lot of information on here about getting the proper offset to mate with the starter but not a lot about getting certain converters to connect. I have a TH400 that used to be attached to a BBC. I have a 2013 LS Gen4 (LMG). I know I need the adapter for the tc snout but I'm not sure if the tc bolts will reach. It seems it will be too far away right? I just want to make sure I get everything I need before the weekend arrives when I drop it in.

Thanks!

You will need to get a flexplate with whatever bolt pattern your converter is. Most SFI certified ones for the LS have the 10.75" LT/350 and 11.066" LS. If you have a converter with the 11.5" 400/4l80 pattern you will need to get a flexplate that will accommodate that. We have one with all three patterns if you need it.

Thanks. Do you know of any parts specificially? I know there are dished and non-dished. Its hard to tell what will fit a TH400 torque converter that was once matted to a bbc.

Thanks!

400 and 4L80E have the same converter specs as far as snout and pads
So a FW setup for an 80E will work with a 400 converter, as long as the bolt holes for the converter match up
Fact. used a .400 spacer bet the FW and crank, and a flat style FW for the 80E, works for a 400

Thanks! I thought if you needed that spacer that adapter would be further from the flexplate. Guess not. I'll find one on summit I hope.
