weak tq numbers, 3500 stall/bolt on guys, what did you dyno?
Ok I have a 3500 stall tci, I dynod the car today and I only it 282tq!!??? They tried 3 times, due to the car not locking up the readings were off I guess. What kinda numbers have some of you put down with bolt-ons? How much hp/tq is lost with the converter? Horsepower max that I saw was 305, but they kept trying to hit the curve I guess, is there anyway to convert to better times? Dyno was a portable mustang dyno.
final printout was
304.1hp@6000
282.8tq@5000
is this normal? it was done outside and it was damn hot. I dont have many mods true enough, pacesetter headers, ory, lid, tsp rumbler, but my numbers seem mighty damn low. Comments/suggestions please, I need to know what I need to do next time I get the car dynod.
thanks.

i looked at your sig and you ran a good time. your numbers seem a lil bit low, but it was hot. the proof is in what you ran, and not your hp ratings. granted its nice o say you have hp in the 300's but look at your time. (12.56) a few more mods and you will be low 12's! if the converter did lock up then you more than likely woulda had higher #'s. a converter utilizes the hp you have. to me that is the most important thing. you can have 1000hp, but if you cannot use it efficiently then it doesnt mean ****.
good luck to ya!

When I still had the TTS LT's w/ catted Y and a 4" Mufflex on my car I put down 310/330. Your numbers are kinda low but the only numbers that matter are the ones on the timeslip.
