Default airbag light after th350 swap

i was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before. i am using a b&m shifter now and i didnt have this problem before. i have checked for codes but can not even communicate with the module at all. i also tried another module from a friend so i dont believe its that. i have power, ground and class 2 data working to the module. any help is appreciated

no one has had this problem after an th350 or th400 swap?

Nobody likes doing it, but you may have to have a dealership read the code. Or, find a shop/buddy with one of the snap on readers. 99% of off the shelf obd2 scanners, even the $300 ones, won't read airbag codes.

i am scanning with a gm tech2. i also have a snap on modis which are both high end scanners. their is no "code" to read in the airbag module because the scan tool can not communicate with it at all.
