airbag light after th350 swap i was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before. i am using a b&m shifter now and i didnt have this problem before. i have checked for codes but can not even communicate with the module at all. i also tried another module from a friend so i dont believe its that. i have power, ground and class 2 data working to the module. any help is appreciated

Nobody likes doing it, but you may have to have a dealership read the code. Or, find a shop/buddy with one of the snap on readers. 99% of off the shelf obd2 scanners, even the $300 ones, won't read airbag codes.

i am scanning with a gm tech2. i also have a snap on modis which are both high end scanners. their is no "code" to read in the airbag module because the scan tool can not communicate with it at all.
