I have a LS3/ 4L65E supermatic, Only had 55 miles on it did not shift right out of the box , from 1-2 gear . The 2-4 servo blow out the side of trans , broke the case . Gm replaced it & it was 4 months out of warranty.
Put new one in ,same thing with shifting , A very good trans tech road with me to night , He things it is skipping
2 gear . What does 2-3 flare fell like ?
can you explain?
I have to have a lap top to look at my TCM, will be getting one soon.

The "same thing with shifting" strongly suggests a problem with the wiring or the TCM.

When u have it 3/4 throttle or more,, when it shifts to 3rd it will just rev to the moon till u let off. IF u are already in 3rd and stand on it, shift down to 2nd then it will shift right into 3rd fine....

That has to mean something, lol

That kind of sounds like what my trans is doing, but I thought it was 2 gear
but not sure. I am using a GMPP supermatic TCM { Connect and Cruise system } part # I think 19260380. The LS3 has 430 hp My trans tech buddy said that trans can take a lot punishment .

I called Gm tech assistance 1-866-453-4123, and started a case on it. when it blew up called them back long story short they replaced it .
But the first time I called with the problem, they said try a new tps. Well my boss has a LS3 Camaro, tried it made no difference, then they said take it to a dealer . I found out dealers do not like to work on cars like my 57 chevy ,Just finished a full restoration.
I have found nothing on the web about this TCM but, Powertrain Control Solutions .com makes it for GM there is more info there , but I have not been able to use it yet , need a lap top , had one but had to give it back.
Both of my transmissions are doing the same thing, my trans tech , said the GM only puts 1 spring in the 2nd gear accumulator and to try a big spring with the little 1, I did this in the 1st trans but did not get fare , I do not think it caused the 2-4 servo to blow out.
I am still working on it, Would a Corvette servo help ?

Got a lap top, My 2 to 3 gear was long and hard shift, Changed a few shift times & got it better. 3 gear still shifts alittle hard. Now about 1/2 throttle 1n 3 gear it shifts down to 2 gear & I thought it was going in neutral, Because the car would rev up but go no ware. then shift to 3, But I think I need to change down shift times . All other gears are great up or down .

We checked everthing we could, the TCM is shifting over 2 gear. That is why it hits 3 gear hard. I will be calling PCS for tech info Monday. Hopefully we can come up with some thing.
I am glad you got yours fixed.GMPP

Well I think I got it , After installing 3 transmissions, found a wire at the TCU was in the wrong place , moved it to the right place & trans shifts great.
My connect and cruz LS3-4L65e has a Powertrain Control Solutions TCU blue box & wiring harness.

At the TCU there is a 63 wire connector ,the pink /black wire was in #58 & needed to be in 59. My trans would not shift into 2 gear. This wire operated the 1-2 shift solenoid. I do not have my notes with me, but I do think this is right. Getting it apart was easy but getting all those wires back in the connector was a pain.
