Default Monster transmission

Monster has a rebuild kit for the 4l60e, anyone have opinions on it? I've never rebuilt a trans and I want to, just want to get all the right parts, I see a lot of the suggested parts doing a search, but not much on monster.

do a search for monster transmission in this section ( not monster clutch different company) you will get an idea of their reputation in this community.

Stay away from Monster Transmissions and especially Mad Dog Transmissions.

well now you can look in your own thread also lol

but a better question would be who you should do business with and a brief time seeing advice given in the threads in here will give you the major players , there are several reputable shops that are sponsors here and you can see the ones that spend a lot of time on this forum helping people make good decisions , that is customer service those are the guys you want to do business with.

I am avoiding mentioning names because I haven't personally done business with any of them but from seeing who is helpful & knowledgeable on here I know the shops that I would consider.

Thanks for the input, I have seen a lot of Monster negative, but wasn't sure about the rebuild kits, so I will steer clear of them!! Thanks!
