If the '98 300mm trans is out of a V8 Camaro/TA....Yes it will work, If it's out of a truck/suv...No it won't.

Why won't the truck transmission work? Tail housings and shift shafts can be changed. Servo too.

'98 trucks still had gen 1 SBC engines, And used 298mm 4L60E's. He has a LS 300mm 4L60E.

He could run a Crank Spacer & Redrill his Flexplate along with the Tailhousing & Shift Shaft swap & omit the 2 lower bellhousing bolts that go into the oil pan.

Oh yea lol. I have a spare '99 out of a truck. For some reason I keep thinking it's a '98.
It's a spare for my '01 Z28. (I used to have a '98 f body 4L60E for a spare, which would have bolted right in).
