Default Tru cool cooler

http://www.transmissioncoolers.us/47391.html
I want to run this as a stand alone cooler and bypassing the radiator since 5.3 envoy and trailblazers have the problem where coolant may leak into the transmission. Also wanted to keep my transmission cool since temps reach 215. How can I do this without cutting my existing lines? I don't want to run braided hoses all the way to the transmission itself. My vehicle is an 06 envoy denali 2wd. I'm going to mount the cooler right behind the power steering cooler.

Chances of fitting that unit without cutting lines are slim to none. I have had good success cutting the factory hard line and bending a new set of tubing and connecting using a high quality compression fitting.

Since the fluid in the cooling lines can reach 100 psi and 250F, I would strongly avoid any rubber lines or connections. I recall a thread where the OP used rubber lines which, when they sprung a leak, ruined the transmission.
