Can someone give me an opinion on this
I bought this torque converter from a guy i know for $250 he said he paid almost $700 and he gave me the receipt from where he got it. The place is called PROTORQUE.COM and the model number is PTC-10LS1LS. My question is as i have learned more and more about what people say 32-3600 stall sounds good, however this one is a 24-2600 10.5 low stall and it does retail for like $749 should i keep it or sell it? My current upgrades are slp lid, slp exhaust, jet hot coated headers and y-pipe, ls6 intake and soon a cam. I am trying to keep this car as powerful as possible but as close to normal drivability-idle-shifting as possible. Do i ditch it and get another or sell it and just keep the money i have no clue what to do.

I personally do not recommend using a converter that small. 2600 helps some, but a 3000 to 3600 stall is very streetable and produces far greater performance gains. I would ditch it and get a Yank SS3600. Alternatively a Vig 2800 or TCI 3300 would also do better than a 2400/2600.

Since you got it, try it out. If you don't like it, get a different one. At least you'll have first hand experience to compare a change with. Hell, you might like it! I've been curious to see more posts from people that use small TCs. BTW, Protorque is popular with the Vette guys.
