I Ordered an 4l80e for my project, told them I wanted an LS 4L80e Trans, they asked HP, Rear tire size, gear ratio.

They will all fit an ls. Some have a different bell that has a different number of holes, different fluid fitting locations and some don't have the holes drilled for an electric shift switch. ?? There are different length shifter rods also. Did you specify all of that?
What did you get?
Oh crap---Hawaii. Long way to ship unless you got it locally.

I figured that I was asking for an LS 4l80e I would get a 2000 up trans with the extra bolt hole, along with MLPS mounting holes
maybe I should have been more specific when ordering??? I just ***-umed that asking for an LS 4l80e thats what I'd get,

Jake's Performance....
Jake was suppose to give me a call. Never got that Call.
Credit Card Charge has been Disputed.
At this point I wouldn't want any product from them

What are you planning to put the transmission in?
If you are putting it into an older car, like an early camaro, Vette, chevelle, etc, then the early style transmission may be a better choice because the cooler connections are in a position similar to a TH400. The later transmissions have one connection much further back and it can be an interference headache with the transmission tunnel.
Both versions can be built equally strong, I don't think anyone considers the one extra bellhousing bolt on top to be a critical weak point..

Did you pay the extra $300 for the 99 up core?
From the website
"All pricing includes core cost for 91-98 (Early) style cores. 99-up (late) style cores with a 7 bolt bellhousing will be an additional $300. Providing a REBUILDABLE core will reduce the posted price by $200."

I can pull the recorded phone conversations and post them if needed.
The ad for the Black Friday sale was very specific.
You then called in and DEMANDED a late core but were unwilling to pay the cost difference, AFTER your unit was on the bench and built minus the valve body.
You weren't happy that we wouldn't give you a free $300 upgrade on a custom built unit, after it was already built, that was ordered at a considerable discount.
You were told you could pay for the upgrade.
That wasn't acceptable, you wanted a refund.
Which you got, despite being against the specific polices of the Black Friday sale YOU agreed to.
I elected to do the refund instead of continue to do business with an unreasonable customer.
Should I just upgrade every customer from a Stage 2 to a Stage 3 because they call and complain?
Or early to late core?
My office staff made a clerical error. The 30% restocking fee for a custom build is for the TOTAL invoice, they only did it for the deposit.
You made it clear to me that I was better off not continuing the transaction. Obviously a good decision on my part.
