Default Aftermarket trans cooler with all 8 An hoses and fittings. Bad idea??

I am doing a Ls swap on a 80 Fbody. Using the DERALE trans cooler. Trans is a 4L70E. My guess would be a little bigger of lines would help it run cooler then running 6AN stuff.

Not much info on the web about 8AN being to big. I dont want to ruin my brand new trans. I figure if trucks are running 8AN size lines it would not hurt for a car???

You'll never notice the difference between the 2.
