TCI3500 what stall speed?
I was just wondering what rpm do yall guys stall up with your TCI3500? I have had my converter for awhile now and love it but i wish i could stall it to a higher rpm. At the track on nittos the best i have got it to is 2000rpm. I have never tried it on slicks. Also do yall think flashing the verter is better then stalling it when launching? I know Colonel cut 1.6s with this verter, my best is 1.8. Well any help would be appreciated. Thanks

He's talking about when I was running a TCI SSF3500 in this '02. I pulled a best of 1.61 on Nittos with that converter. That was with careful driving (I've done this a few times...hehee) on an excellent track.
NO converter will pull good 60s without traction. You gotta learn to hook. This may mean a better burnout (get those Nittos HOT!!!, PSI adjustment, some suspension mods, moving weight, a better track, better tires (slicks) or all of the above.

Yeah i think i am hooking really good i just dont know if i should be able to stall the converter more or not. Colonel when you cut the 1.6s were you flashing the converter or just stalling it to a certain rpm? Thanks

I always stall a converter up good and tight. I never "flash". 2300 or so should be good with that converter if you can hook it. Get those Nittos HOT, keep 'em clean to the line, and hold your brakes TIGHT when stalling! You should be able to get it up there without much trouble.
