Default RPMs drag slowly down after let off gas

when i drive highway speeds (60+) instead of the rpms goin to 1200-1400 when i let off the gas the rpms stay up at whatever the current rpm is and slowly drag down as if it has a jake brake (like the semi's)... ne ideas??? i have a built 4l60e and a TCI 3800 stall and LS1edit... both very very new... ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. ZAC

Your converter is locked at those speeds. If you have edit, you can look at the table that shows what the speed has to drop to in both 3rd and OD for the converter to unlock.

If you touch the brakes, it should unlock.

If you don't want the converter locked when you are coasting, raise your 0% TPS lock-up speed to 100 mph. Probably should raise the unlock as well at 0% TPS.
