3200 stall on dyno will it give low numbers??? need help

Default 3200 stall on dyno will it give low numbers??? need help

i have a 3200 stall in my car and mac mids borla exhaust lid and maf and i put down a depresing 286hp 308tq. could the converter caus e a power loss i odnt have a way to manualy lock and unlock it can this be a good reason for low numbers?

:yup: Since the converter in 3rd gear at WOT stays unlocked, you will see lower peak hp numbers. Although your tq figures should be higher, especially if the trans would down shift into 2nd then upshift again (tq spike).

Besides, with a converter you should be more concerned about ETs than dyno numbers. My SS dynoed about 320 rwhp but ETs 12.4s and low 1.6 60's.

yes it will, quite a bit
for autos, the dyno is more of a tuning tool than anything else
its nice to have bragging rights with big hp dyno numbers, but its better to be able to throw down at the track

12.4s at the track with average weather and a 3700 lbs car....thats all that matters

330rwhp is what my car puts down....I guess its ok
