Yank SS4000
I'm thinking about installing a Yank SS4000 in my Th-400 with T-Brake. The guy I'm looking to buy it from says that with his bolt on car and small cam it footbraked up to around 4000. I've always heard that a T-brake puts roughly 1000 rpms on whatever the converter foot brakes to. So what would this converter go to on the T-Brake? I don't want it any higher than 4000 so I'm trying to figure this out before I commit to buying it...any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

If it stalled to 4000 footbraking then it is NOT a 4000 stall. If it's a 4000 stall then it'll go as high as 4000 (you should use a two step to hold your RPMs lower) with a transbrake. Footbraking you'll get around 3000.
