Please Help Me, Noises From Tranny?
Ok, I just had an ST3500 installed with a Transgo Shiftkit and a B&M Cooler...
I also had longtube hooker Headers with ORY installed at the same time.
I am hearing a funny noise when I am driving around at around 3 mph, and when I am at about half throttle (not WOT or very low throttle off of the line).
When I am driving around it feels like the tranny is clunking, like it is loose or something. It sounds very strange and not good, I think it got worse when I drug my car a little bit going into someones driveway. The car does awesome at WOT from a stop, and it is fine if you really feather it, but if you go in between it will make a fairly hard clunk as it shifts gears.
If I broke my tranny mount or whatever, how do I find out? What does it look like? Am I running risk of hurting my tranny if I dont get it fixed right away? The car shifts great, and works AMAZING at the track. I have no problems with it going into gear, etc. however I do definatly want to know what is causing the clunking. I hope it is not my rear end... that would suck...
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot,
