Default TH 350 Do I really need a transbrake? Many more questions.

I want a th 350 and have a guy in abilene that is going to build it , Redneck Performance. The big thing is I want to still be able to cruise this thing and they say with the transbrake setup it will get to hot to drive around town. Anyone have a stout th 350 they cruise on Friday and Saturday nights. Lets leave it at this for now. Thanks in advance for your help.
