Best servo, tune, washer, hole combo?
I know that the tranny will shift different depending on what servo, tune, washer# and hole size you drill. It seems like everyone uses a different combo of things to get the same result or the result that they like. What I am looking for is to firm up my shifts while extending the life of the tranny. My shifts need to be firm but not neck snapping or anything like that. Just good quality. I will have my truck tuned by Nelson Performance with 80% TQM removed. The tranny is a 4L65e in a truck BTW. So what is the best combo to use.
Thanks

There are so many variables that you better plan on taking the trans back apart, maybe several times, to adjust stuff to get the feel you're looking for.
I can tell you it's easy to get the 1-2 shift firm so go mild on that stuff and small with the hole size.
It's more difficult to get a good 2-3 shift so you can go on the big side with the feed hole for that.
