Default Installing new 3500 verter. What trany fluid sould I use

I just bought TCI ssf 3500 and I was wondering if synthic fluid was the way to go or is there something out there that is better. Thanks to all the great F body owners out there. With a web sight like this, the ford people have no chance.

I have a vig 2800 but used to have a 3200 and have been using Royal Purple synthetic fluid and have also used mobil1. I think it was cheap insurance because I lost a trans cooler line and lost 4 quarts of fluid. Filled it back up with synthetic and been driving ever since(400-600 miles a week).

most converter manufacturers recommend using regular dino oils... synthetic is too slippery

Synthetic is great for motors because its "slippery", thats the last thing your want your clutches to do. I've always run dino oil with my vig 3200 and everything is great.

Lightbulb

I'm a big fan of synthetic fluids but when it comes to automatics I still only use the conventional stuff, just heard too many horror stories.
