Default TH400 converters... What's good? Who's got what?

Going to a TH400 setup, so I'm looking for a converter. I've never looked into converters for a 400, so what's good? I want a 4000 - 4400 stall (preferably on the lower end). It will be behind a forged 346 w/ a Trex cam and some nitrous (175-200 or so). The TH400 will be full manual/brake. What does it take (or is it possible) to put a lockup converter in it? Who has what converters, and how happy are you with them? Any bad experiences?

well convertors are all in what you want to pay. and you truely get what you pay for. that isnt just a sales pitch. you can buy from the sponsers. TCI and Yank make a nice convertor. if you want all out and are willing to pay the price, nothing beats Neal Chance convertors. TCT and A1 convertors are a slightly more economical choice and yet still hits hard and stays efficient.

Yank offered a lock-up converter for the TH 400. I don't see it listed on their website so you would have to contact them and see if they still sell it.

i also want to know too, becuase a buddy of mine on here had a vig 3600 and i had my pt4400 and we were side by side and once we hit third i pulled on him bad... bad enough he went and bought a yank the next day!! and was just wondering if they are like that also when you buy one for a turbo 400 trans... and i was thinking about buying a tci 4400 for my set-up... thanks for the info

yank still makes them but you have to have your trans build for a lockup and will be prob twice as much and so is the stall... just have to get a diff pump and things like that, im not going to act like i know alot about trans becuase i dont
