Default Any LS1 F-cars using a 4L60e Trailblazer converter?

It should fit the fbody, the TB uses the 60e trans so why not. I read that the one to use is the one out of a inline 6 cyl TB. Supposed to stall 23-2500 or so. Can anyone verify this? Anyone using this?

I assume it would work, but the work to get that low of a stall would be useless on an FBody.

My wife drives a Isuzu Ascender, which is the Isuzu version of the trailblazer. I will say that for a 6 cyl SUV it definitely has some pull off the line. However, I'm sure like stated above, that the stall is still too low for a LS1 to see any real benefit from the swap.

Default Stall OK

Hi

It depends on your car but, my z28 1998 A4 has a stall speed of about 1600 RPM I believe. Going with a 2300 stall is not ideal for 1/4 mile performance, but the extra RPM will still make a big difference on the street. It depends on how cheeply you can do it for. If you can find a used one at areasonable price and install it your self, I think it would be well worth the effort. I have been thinking about doing the same.

It'll stall higher in the LS1 than the trailblazer. What is rated stall behind the trailblazer? (I own a 2002 envoy and the converter works very well)

The stock converter in your vehicle is an 1800 stall 1.6 STR.
