When Removing Center Console? A4 Center Console Removal
For any who have done this...I removed the bolts in the storage area and the shift ****, but I still feel resistance from the cigarette lighter area. My hand had is too big to disconnect the cigarette lighter from the cell phone holder hole. Am I not pulling out the front portion hard enough? I wanna be careful since all our stuff is this F plastic.

If you are talking about the console top you have to lift it up from the rear, there are a few spring clips and once those pop out with the rear of it up high you can disconnect the bulb for the shift indicator and slide it back to unplug the lighter easy. Pull the shifter back into drive so the top can move back.
