4L60e rebuild?
Im in Illinois and was just wondering where is a good place for rebuilding a 4l60e. Im not in desperate need of a rebuild but im gonna be putting a stall in soon and taking it to the track often and it seems to act kinda funny every once in awhile and it has around 118,000 miles on it. Also, what needs to be done to beef it up? I dont want to have to worry about it. Any ideas one how much this would cost also?

just go to their websites and check em out. www.ls1speed.com for the Dr. Evil trannys. not sure what FLPs site is so just do a search. They have different stages ergo different prices. You should find one that best suits ur needs. Happy hunting

Bowler Transmissions, they did mine and the one in my GN. AWESOME Work and the best customer service period. He does the trannies for Troy Trepanier and the "Overhaulin'" show, not to mention many racers. He just did mine and we put ALL the goodies in it and it was $2600. That included having the convertor opened and checked and also R&R'ing the tranny.

FLP's is www.flp2win.com
Their level IV is $2k. The best of the three Dr Evil trannies (the max evil) is also $2k. The FLP comes with vacuum modulation, the Dr evils are another ~$130 to add vacuum mod.
