I running a 2.5str with my 3,500 stall and 2.73s (I should have gone atleast 2.8 with my set up).

The question for you is though, what do you have for gears, and what are you going to be running for tires?

With the nitrous I wouldn't go much higher than 3,600-3,800. If your going to stay in that range a 2.2-2.5str would probrably work nice on the street and at the strip.

run a 245mm convertor. 3600 is about right for a nitrous convertor. making sure it wont push more than 4400-4500 on the spray. i dont get caught up in str values.

Currently Fuddle Racing Converter (FRC) 3800 2.5 str, 3.23 gears, MT DR's 26x10x15 and baby 100 shot didnt log so cant tell what it pushed through or not.

Going in this week, another FRC 4000 2.4str same gears and tires and larger shots!

Who built that trans? Or is it stocker? I blew the 3-4 in my stock after ~700 passes in a 13month timespan Been running the Cmotorsports Level II since w/o issues. Might need another one, to swap out with during refreshening cycles.
