Default Where is the VSS sensor (4L60E)

I think mine got hit when the shop took my tranny out because since then its been acting real weird, speedo going down 10mph while at WOT from 70, then if i hit it from a roll it doesnt really go up so i just spin it through 6500 rpms, ithe speed on the speedo showed up on hptuners so i know its not my cluster, hopefully this is all it is, but where does this thing go? if anybody has any pictures or diagrams that would be awesome, thanks!

So in HPTuners, it properly display the actual MPH you are going? If so, it is not your VSS. The connector is at the back of the trans and it generates a pulse signal that HPTuners can reference off of the ECM. If this connector was damaged, you would see the same reading on HPTuners that you do on the gauge cluster. Becuase you said your gauge cluster is the only thing that doesn depict the proper display, it means that you have a problem with that guage cluster or wiring behind it.

Then I would suspect the VSS is faulty.
