Default wont move in in drive

when i put the transmission in drive in wont go anywhere just rev up but when i put it in 1st it will go and i can shift all the way trough the gears. whats up?

could be a few things. Check the fluid and make sure its where it is full, low fluid level will keep the car from moving. One other thing is if you broke the sprag, that will keep the car from moving while in drive but you can still manually shift it... Did you hear anything funny coming from the trans...

man i just had the trans flushed and still the same prob. yeah i do here somthing when shift. whats the sprag?
