Verter swap issue!
Alright guys, could use some responses.
I just installed my converter and put it 95% together before I got kicked out of the shop. The only things left is to put the dipstick in and bolt the dipstick to the engine. I tried to back it out of the bay so I could just finish outside and started the car up. It sounded normal and I put it in reverse and gased it a bit to try to make it outside. It made a slight noise that sounded like plastic at the rate of a baseball card on bike spokes. I cut it off immediately. It didn't make the sound until it was in reverse for about 5 seconds or so.
Was this because it was low(2 qts tops) on fluid or do you think its worse than that?
I payed really close attention to putting it back together properly and the TC made the 3 clicks, everything was bolted back up the way it was( - the dipstick tube) and the verter had full fluid going in. Could it be the shift linkage?
