is 3800 stall to high???

Default is 3800 stall to high???

well i have a 98 trans am 2.73 gears (hopefully changing them soon)
but anyways, i use my car as a daily driver and was curious is this stall size to high..other info on car in sig reason why i am asking is i might beable to get a good deal on a TCI 3800 converter... i dunno
what are your opinions...thanks

I used to daily drive on my 4000 stall, and it was prefectly fine to me. Under lower acceleration you don't notice it too awfully much, it's just when you start giving it gas. I would personally go higher than 3800, but if you can get a good deal on it, go for it

I daily drive my 4k stall now and love it, glad I didnt go anything lower, 3800 would be pretty good.

I have a SS3600, wish it was a 3800 though... Yank diddnt have them anymore when I ordered it.

2.73's with a Yank SS3800. No problems and I DD it during non-winter months.

its not the stall but the str that will by slightly mismatched go 4000 stall if you can want but that 2.5 str is alot for any streetable tire although my vote is still yes!

BTW my last set of nittos lasted me 10k the new set is gonna last me about 6 LOL
