Default Shift Kit / Stall

hey guys i've got a 2001 ta automatic stock. i'm about to put kooks or qtp headers and probably a true dual out the back set up. what do ya'll think about shift kits?is it bad on the transmission? do they work with a stall converter? whats the best brand? on stall converters what stall do ya'll recomend and what brand? i was thinking about a 3500 tci. also would 373 gears work with this set up if so what brand gears do ya'll recommend.

3500 tci would be a great stall, fuddles work great too for a good price, 3.73 would also be a good choice, I think the shift kits will make the car shift harder, i had mine done with the tune, no I have a shift kit and like it better !
