For All Those Skeered of Getting A Converter....
I've been putting it off for so long, scared of "looseness"......
Yesterday I finally got a Yank SS3400 2.3 STR installed - I can honestly say I hardly notice the slip at all !!!! I can't believe what a baby I was being about not getting one.
The car is an animal now, it's ridiculous to have an A4 without a converter!!!! Trying not to get on it yet (break in is 200 miles according to Yank) but already I can feel a huge difference.
If you are like I was (and I promise you I was the worst of the worst) take my advice and get the converter - you won't be disappointed. I know it's been said here a lot, just want to confirm everyone's advice with a huge exclamation point...

The A4 really is a superior beast to the M6 however in stock form you would never know it because of that heavy, tight stock converter and the TM. Those two things really hold the car back.
