Running without the lower tqConverter cover on?
Is it bad to drive your car without the lower metal Torque Converter cover on? I do daily drive my car in the summer. It seams that this cover could hold some of the converters heat in. So let me know if you guys drive with or without this cover on.
Thanks

4l60s have a fully enclosed area under there. Just like Ford tranny's. Th400/350 have the half cover though. There are alot of people running with out the covers on those tranny's. Just keep in mind then, that your flywheel and TC are always exposed to the elements that way. If you run over something, it could easily damage them.
