Default solenoid for the converter lock-up......????

How much do they cost?

Where do I get one?

How much should a tranny shop charge to install it?

On 4L60E TCC solenoid is part of the main trans wiring harness, you cant get it by itself. Harness is about $50.00, labor to diag and isntall, probably another $200.00-$300.00.

Dealer charged me 450 to install a harness about 1 year ago.

Its still locking up, but its not a crisp lock-up, its kind-a sluggish to drop rpm.

Does a solenoid just fail and won't lock-up at all, or do they slowly die like that?
