Default Stall for my car...

I have a 2000 Z28 with intake, exhaust and mild gearing (3.42). It is a A4. The car runs 8.5 at 84mph in the 1/8th. I am in the market for a stall and I was wondering what everyone who has an aftermarket stall thinks is the best to go with. I am looking for long term dependability and performance and don't want to sacrifice one for the other. With a new stall and a CF driveshaft, what times should I be looking at in the 1/8th roughly? Thanks for your inputs.

get a yank 4000 or something along those lines. I'm installing a 4000 in my daily driver next week. If you do some searching on here, you'll find that alot of guys with 3000, 3200, and 3600 converters wished they would have went bigger even though they daily drive the car. I'd imagine that with a sticky tire and a 4000 stall, you'd get down to maybe 8.1 in the 1/8th

I've got a 3200 Vigilante and I plan on going with a 3600.

I think part of the going bigger is that you get used to it as you increment.

I know Fuddle does and upgrade service where you get some money back when you upgrade within a year or somethign like that.

I had a friend go from a 3200 to a 4000 and hated it, so he went back to a 3200.

Everybody will recommend whatever brand they are running. I think if you will do a search on Vig 3200 you will find some good info and will convince yourself.

I like my Fuddle. Do yourself a favor and get the 4K the first time.

The other factor is whether you drive the car daily. Do you want good driveability in town, or just to go as fast as you can at the track? What is your tolerance level for looseness? I wouldn't want to drive a 4k stall every day, but some guys do and like it. I have a mild stall and love driving it 95% of the time.
