hey man im in the same boat as you so someone please help the both of us what is the best rebuild kit that someone knows from experience or by word?? i want something strong that will take nitrous.

here is what i buy for street performance and some of my tricks
4l60e banner kit 69.95
3-4 hd clutch pack kit 9 clutches instead of 6 (38.00)
13 vane front pump complete 98.00
beast sunshell (54.00)
superior shift kit (34.00)
wide 2-4 band (27.00)
bearing kit 17.00
washer kit 11.00
forward sprag and low roller clutch (?)
if you pull the ball and capsule aout for the 3rd accumulator which is behind the servo bore and put a cup plug in there it will make 3rd hit hard....you have to put the plug all the way to the top of the case cant be below or in the window.
i have used conduit for my accumualtor springs but be prepared to replace a rear(and sprag) if you do this....just use the springs if it is first time they come with the superior shift kit and works well.
i spend about 350 for this setup and around 250 for a few things shaved from here for a stock tranny.....the kits theysell for like 400 bucks they have a lot of stuff you dont really need and not the stuff you need to make it work like you want it

BTW the cup plug i use is from the park pawl on a chryselr 41te it fits perfectly in the accumulator ball and capsule bore
i should also say i live 5 mins from a tranny parts distro so it is easyfor me to get these parts seperatley if you have to buy a ready made kit make sure to research
